Indian Railways Starting Summer Special Trains from April 26

Indian Railways is gearing up for the summer rush by launching special trains from Anand Vihar and Kanpur to Patna. These trains will start operating from April 26 to accommodate the increasing number of passengers during the hot season.

Indian Railways Summer Special Trains will cover popular routes passing through Patna, Bengal, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. One special train has also commenced its journey from Katihar to Anand Vihar.

For instance, the Anand Vihar Terminal to Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan to Anand Vihar Terminal Special train will run every Saturday from 27th April to 29th June, stopping at key stations like Meerut City, Ghaziabad, and Saharanpur.

Another special train, the Anand Vihar T to Patna Jn. to Anand Vihar T Reserved Special, will operate on Mondays and Tuesdays from 29th April to 26th June. It will stop at stations like Kanpur Central, Chipyana, and Prayagraj.

Another Summer Special Trains schedule is - Anand Vihar T to Ayodhya Cantt. to Anand Vihar T special trains will run on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays starting from 27th April until 29th June.

Additionally, the Jammu Tawi to Udaipur to Jammu Tawi Indian Railways summer travel special train will operate on Thursdays and Fridays from 26th April to 28th June.

In response to the anticipated surge in travel demand, Indian Railways will run a record-breaking 9,111 train trips during the summer season, marking a 43% increase compared to the previous year. This substantial rise in summer holiday train services demonstrates the railways' commitment to meeting passenger demands effectively.

The Western Railway will operate the highest number of trips, followed by the North Western Railway, South Central Railway, and East Central Railway. This initiative aims to provide the convenience of summer season travel plans to passengers and ensure smooth travel experiences during the summer months.
